Toys are Essential for Cats and Kittens
Toys provide your
cat or kitten with an essential outlet to express their natural
predatory instincts. Stimulating toys also help to prevent boredom,
particularly for strictly indoor cats. Toys provide healthy exercise

contain small parts (ie: buttons, small external bells) that could be
easily chewed off and accidentally swallowed, therefore posing a health

Our
Catnip Toys
are not "fully loaded" with catnip. Toys that are "fully
loaded" with catnip only, become extremely messy once they are
minutely punctured by a claw or a tooth, as the catnip starts to leak
out of the toys and scatter. Some cats experience digestive upsets
from these leaky "fully loaded" toys, ingesting too much catnip (often
stale) at once. Since our toys only contain
100% Organic Premium Quality Fresh Catnip,
its potency is very high and therefore only small amounts are required
in the toys.
Catnip Recommendations for Kitten Friendly, Catnip Free Toys
Catnip is not
recommended for kittens under four months of age as they do not need the
extra stimulation.
To add the allure of Catnip, just place the toys in a tight sealing
jar/bag with Premium Quality, Fresh Catnip and
let sit for two weeks. This process can be repeated from time to time to
help renew your kitty's interest in the toy. Catnip Pellets can also be
inserted into the crochet toys through the weaving in the yarn or as an
alternative you can use Catnip Spray.
Care Instructions for Catnip Free Toys
Our Kitten-Friendly,
Catnip-Free Toys are machine washable
(cold, gentle cycle) and dryable (low heat). Toys can also be layed
flat to air dry. The teaser wands can be spot cleaned with a lightly
dampened cloth or sponge. This keeps them clean, sanitary and long
lasting.
